Affiliate Disclosure

SwapToSaaS recommends open-source software that mostly pays us nothing, and links to hosting that sometimes does. This page names every commercial relationship so you can judge the recommendations knowing where the money is.

1. Links that can pay us

These are the only affiliate relationships on the site. All of them are routed through /go/<brand> or carry rel="sponsored nofollow" inline:

• DigitalOcean and Vultr — we run production workloads on both, which is why they are listed first.
• Cloudways — the managed option for readers who do not want to administer a server.
• Hostinger — budget VPS tier, used in some deploy guides.
• n8n Cloud — the managed option for n8n. Self-hosting n8n stays free under its own licence; that link is a hosting convenience, never a licence requirement.
• Cal.com Teams — the paid team tier. Cal.com's individual tier is free forever and self-hosting stays free under MIT, both of which we say on the page.

2. Related-party links (our own products)

Some links are not arm's-length affiliate deals at all, they point to products the same company operates. We are not a neutral reviewer of our own tools:

• AgentValet — our own setup service, sold directly from this site.
• LLMRelay — operated by the same company. Linked from the AgentValet page and covered in our case studies.
• Case Distillery, CrossBorderPlus, MillionKM, AirportLoungePass and SwapToMartech — sister properties, linked as our own work rather than as independent recommendations.

Where a case study describes a build we did, treat it as a portfolio piece with a commercial interest attached, not as third-party validation.

3. Who pays us nothing

The open-source projects we rank — n8n, Cal.com, Activepieces, Windmill, Huginn, Node-RED, Docmost, Plausible, Umami and the rest — pay us nothing. Neither do the commercial SaaS products we compare them against. We receive no payment from any OSS project, and there is no way to buy a ranking position.

Several of our guides conclude that you should stay on the paid hosted product, or that the free tier is enough and you need no server at all. Both conclusions earn us less than the alternative. We publish them anyway, because a recommendation that always points at the payout is worth nothing to you.

4. What commissions do not affect

• Rankings. Comparison tables are scored on cost and capability data independently of the affiliate section beneath them. Our methodology page describes how.
• Your price. Links pass through to the vendor's published price.
• The verdict. If a host degrades, we drop it, affiliate or not.

5. About the /go/ redirect

Affiliate clicks pass through a redirect on our own domain so we can rotate a link without editing dozens of pages and can count clicks to check against network reporting. It is not cloaking: every /go/ path is noindex, disallowed in robots.txt and excluded from the sitemap, and the on-page link keeps rel="sponsored nofollow". We count clicks per brand only — no IP, no user agent, no cookie, no fingerprint. See our privacy policy.

6. Operator and contact

SwapToSaaS is operated by Weisung Technology Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales. If you find a commercial link on this site that is not disclosed, tell us at [email protected] and we will fix it.
