SwapToSaaS carries affiliate links. This page states exactly where the money comes from so you can read the rest of the site knowing what our incentives are.
Who we earn from
Our commercial relationships are with infrastructure providers, not with the software we rank. We may earn a commission when you sign up through our links to hosting providers including Cloudways, DigitalOcean, Hostinger and Vultr, and from a small number of vendor links (for example n8n Cloud) disclosed on the page that carries them. Many of these links run through a /go/ redirect on this domain so we can measure which recommendations are useful; those redirects are disallowed in robots.txt and every on-page affiliate link carries rel="sponsored nofollow".
Who we earn nothing from
The open-source projects we recommend most often pay us nothing. Neither do most of the commercial SaaS products we compare against. Several of our articles conclude that you should keep paying the incumbent vendor, which earns us nothing at all. When a page recommends a paid tool we have no relationship with, we say so on that page.
Our own products
SwapToSaaS also promotes two products operated by the same company: AgentValet (a paid setup service) and LLMRelay (an AI API gateway). Links to these are related-party links, not arm's-length affiliate deals, and we state that wherever they appear.
What the commission does not buy
- It does not buy ranking position. Scores come from the published cost and capability data behind the site, described on our methodology page.
- It does not change your price. Links pass through to the vendor's own published rate.
- It does not buy silence. Where a self-hosted option is genuinely worse, or the maintenance burden outweighs the saving, that is the conclusion we publish.
- It does not buy removal of a rival. We name and link tools that pay us nothing when they are the better fit.
